Analogue Switch Off Talks

Lately Ailsa Redford, managing partner of Hosies has been giving presentations to various groups and organisations in the local area explaining what will be involved in "Going Digital" when the time comes in 2010 when our existing analogue signal network is switched off.

Local organisations that have so far been visited include:

Hosies senior partner, Mr Graeme Redford presented a JVC Hard drive DVD Recorded to some of the pupils from the first year of Grove Academy. They were involved in raising the greatest amount of funds from from all the classes from their 2006 Christmas raffle.

Mr Peter Wilson of Dundee won the latest JVC 26"HD LCD + matching stand in our April competition in the Arbroath Herald/Broughty Ferry Gazette.

The JVC was delivered and installed by HOSIES as part of our normal full service.

ELECTRICAL RETAILING MERCHANDISER OF THE YEAR 2003 AWARD WINNER

Recognising the outstanding achievements of manufacturers and retailers alike, the Total Industry Awards 2003 will be the year's most prestigious industry event

We have a special retailer award for merchandising, in which we are looking for the retailer--the whether indie, multiple, department store or even supermarket--who has the UK's best shop sales strategy, marketing, staff and in-store displays.

The awards dinner was held in Birmingham's National Motorcycle Museum on the evening of Monday, April 7 2003.
